i'm still nineteen

regardless of whatever anyone else may say, I am still nineteen years old.
Okay, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's move on to more pressing things. I.e. updates on my fascinating life.
It was my birthday on Friday and I had a very pleasant wake-up call. Not! Was woken up by my phone: I received a message from a friend telling me that Gorgonite (a "girl" from my past) was hassling her about getting my number. It wasn't even a "happy Birthday!!" Anyway, what a way to wake up.
And of course, the rest of the day followed the initial mood of the morning, as it usually does. Nothing special happened. After chee's class (2:30pm)we went to Cubao to get our bus tickets, but the latest (note the LATEST) time we could have left was 8pm (I usually leave really late --around midnight-- or right after my last class for the day, usually around lunchtime). Anwyay, Chee insisted we had to go to Youth Jam so we got the tickets for the 8pm bus, third row from the back.
Went to YOF, and after the praise portion and Pastor Rico greeted me, I motioned to Chee that we had to go. Then Jen, who was sitting beside me, went to the next row and got out this cake (chocolate of course) and an envelope full of notes from friends from YOF and Ateneo. How sweet!! At least my day was redeemed.
So Mark, thanks for choosing the cake. It was really yummy!!! (although I didn't eat much of it, my family is full of matakaws)
Chee and I spent the weekend at PMA. Toured her around, this time walking Pola, the Yorkshire terrier and not Elvis, the dalmatian. Pola's so cute!!! Had a small barbeque party after Church on Sunday. My family put together this album/scrapbook and it was so cute!!! My dad crammed it daw, and everyone helped. My favourite page is the one of all my crushes, care of my dearest sister. Hehehe...
Went shopping with Chee at ukay-Ukay. We got some good stuff (Chee got so much goods!) so it was nice. Will post pictures of some of our finds when I get copies of them myself. Wnet back down to Manila Monday/tuesday midnight. (i'm never sure where midnight falls)
Anyway, I'm back in school now. Back to the same old, same old.
Oh, during my Games Development class (our first official class) Sir Eric was giving us the rundown on Computer Games History and was giving out bonuses (as in Choco-Mallows) for correct answers to his questions--mostly trivia. Anyway, I got my Mallow early on through this super chamba answer. Thus satisfied, I just sat out the rest of the class, waiting for my classmates (90% male) to battle it out amongst themselves for the rest of the yummy treats. Obscure trivia questions followed, and suprisingly most of these guys knew the answer!
My reaction, sitting in my chair, looking at the passionate faces of all these young men who probably wasted most of their childhood on a FamilyComputer or a PlayStation:
"T'm surrounded by GEEKS!!! AAARGH!"

at least I'm not a geek. Just a nerd...
