Looking forward to the Weekend
Today is the day I submit my "masterpieces" to the Competition, I'm just praying we find the place... Never been to the area where the Shell Art House is. Drats... Anyway, my room is an absolute mess. I call it creative disorder. It's terminal.
My mum called this morning, asked what my Christmas wish list was. And it's Cash. Heheheh... I'm really praying for that exchange student program to France for when I graduate. I want to go to ICAM (Institut d'Arts et Metiers) where they specialize in Engineering and where I could take Computer Engineering Courses (which is kina related to my field). Just need to raise some cash for my plane ticket (round trip), tuition to my current school for one year (it is an exchange program after all) -- tuition I'm not paying right now because I'm a full scholar (Dad's in Military and a teacher--both noble professions but neither pay well), and pocket money for the year. I'll want to be able to take a few trips to England to visit my mates, so...
The Lord will provide. He always has...
That's why I really hope I get a few buckaroos at the competition, to add to my France-fund. And I'm also scouting around for more competitions I could join. If anyone knows any comps within the next two years, please tell me!!! ^_^
It's Free-day today. I have my Weekend bag (change of trousers, four tops, and other necessaries) but I don't know yet which one of my beloved tribe-members (aunts, uncles, cousins) I will crash with. Oh well, I'll find out later.
Watching a movie with Jen (my discipler and the girl I play bass for) and some other friends. I think we're gonna see "The Terminal" although I've heard good things about the film with Nia Vardalos, where she dresses up like a drag queen with someone else (Connie and Carla?).
Then sleep and cable for the weekend! Hurrah!!!
